HYDROPONICS doesn't have to be taboo!!!

Many people may snicker or gasp at the word HYDROPONICS, as it has an infamous link to the production of many illegal plants.

One may wonder why said plants would be grown in this manner.

Let's think about this:

If an individual wants the biggest and most healthy plants, hydroponics is a perfect idea.

Hydroponics provides a much better growing environment in comparison to growing with a soil based media.

The media that is used is sterile and therefore free of harmful bacteria, fungi or nematodes,

all that would be detrimental to the growth of a healthy plant.

With most of the nutrients being provided to the plant in solution it is much easier to give the plant certain elements

at various growth stages to promote either vegetative or reproductive growth.

With this same technology less offensive plants like lettuce, celery, carnations

and a host of others can be grown.
